In order to explore the pattern and define it from different aspects I started making models to bring in reality the hexagon complexity. Based on the rules which the pattern follows, the 3d is formed through modelling.
I isolated an hexagon to begin with. I used thread/cotton as a material in order to achieve the shapes of the distorted hexagon.
